• Applications. Applications are currently open until February 10, 2012 at 12:00 AM CST.
  
  
• AC notes. Just a little reminder that it will be at the end of the month and will have full requirements. However, we're going to allow all posts and threads made from the moving date, Jan. 25, so you'll be able to use those in addition to anything made during the month. We're also doing a little adjustments and we'll make a separate announcement when it comes closer to date. But we just wanted to go ahead and give a little heads up for those who may have been wondering how this month's AC is going to work.
  
  
• Decorations. In anticipation of Valentine's Day, Somarium has started with its decorations with pinks, whites, and reds. This of course includes holiday decorations. Expect to see cupids and hearts everywhere—maybe even on your windows and roofs.
  
  
• Traveling Troupe. A traveling troupe of performers is passing through Somarium this week. They appear to be a part of the same caravan that arrived earlier, but they were just running a little late is all. They're happy to perform their pieces for everyone but they're also the rather inquisitive bunch. Mostly they keep asking about a rabbit statue for some reason.
  
  
• Candy hearts. In their mailbox, everyone will find a box of those chalky heart candies with those 'clever' little sayings on them. Except in this case, those sayings aren't quite the normal ones. It seems this batch of hearts has rejected sayings on them. It's nothing mean but sometimes the sayings don't make sense. One can find things like "b mayan', 'be ours', or 'bo bice' written on them. Or even 'Happy VD'. Oops.
  
  
• Love is in the air? Starting Tuesday, February 7, characters may notice a certain...aroma lingering in the air. A faint, but noticeable sweet scent. The source of the aromas are a mystery, but the scenes will waft through random locations—maybe even through your A/C unit. Those who catch a whiff may feel a little romantic, particularly to anyone they may already have a positive relationship with.
  
  The effects are very mild—no one is going to fall head over heels for someone. But they may start noticing things about a certain person or maybe even think about them a little more than usual. It's temporary and only lasts for a few hours, leaving the person perhaps feeling a little confused about their feelings—if any.
  
  This is of course optional and not everyone will be affected. If they are, some will be less than others.

I hate to do this, but it's time to rip off the bandaid.

I've pretty much been character squatting with Mami here for the last whole, and that's not a good sign on it's own. I haven't had the motivation to do anything since the move, so I think it'd be best if I just left things here. This meguca is going back home, and that mean's i'm dropping Som altogether.

To everyone who's threaded with me for the past year or so, thank you so much! I had so much fun and you have no idea how much I appreciate it. I apologize to Mami's cast and her close CR as well - you guys have made my time here all the more special.
