Notes:- Applications. It's only a few days until apps open! Remember that only this app cycle will be affected by last month's event. Applications will resume as normal on September.
- Dreamberries. With everyone back together, the Dreamberries have begun functioning normally again. Wonder what made them malfunction in the first place.
- Ob Holm. Now that they are forced to remain in Ob Holm for an extended stay, the characters are no longer restricted just to the resort and are allowed to roam the city in its entirety. They are even allowed to leave the city and will face very little resistance. So here are a few key notes:
- No barrier. Unlike Somarium, Ob Holm does not have a barrier. Instead they utilize their natural surroundings to help protect them. With rocky cliffs to its west and the oasis touching these cliffs and curving around to the north, the only thing left is a massive huge wall that surrounds the remaining openings with patrols that walk the top. Even so, there are very few desert monster attacks. No sand sharks or giant desert worms here. The real risk are bandits.
- It's a square. Instead of a circle, the city is more or less squareish in shape and there are only three districts: Upper, Middle, Lower. The buildings are also squareish in shape, each one built high and made of brick and stone.
- Upper District. This houses all of the more high end businesses and residences. It's also gated and walled off with guards posted at each entrance. This is located closer to where the cliff and oasis meet and is set higher.
- Middle District. This is the largest portion of the city and where the resort the characters are residing in is. Other resorts and hotels are situated in this district. Most of the shopping and dining areas also centered here, including The Bazaar. The small line of trading stalls near the resort pale in comparison to this one as it spans several blocks and buildings. An assortment of goods can be found here, from food to clothing to random trinkets. In addition, the items vary in style as many of them come from other cities.
- Lower District. Basically the slums. There are a number of thieves and black markets here. Definitely not some place you want to be alone at night.
The oasis. The oasis borders the Upper and Middle district and serves as a kind of beach front. Anyone is free to go in, and the water is fresh and drinkable. Palm trees, ferns, and other flora surround the oasis, hiding the desert beyond.
Dream Gate Station. There is a large building in the Middle District that houses a very large dream gate, not unlike the ones others have seen before. Currently it has been deactivated due to the war and what happened in Somarium, however there is a chart with a long list of city names. Death Tally. We need a death tally once more as we will be ICly releasing the names of those who were not able to make it to Ob Holm to everyone. Should you know anyone who died during the battle in Somarium and wasn't mentioned here, kindly comment to this post so we may add them to our list.Should you have any questions, feel free to ask them here.
