So. Hell week has arrived at my university. In the interest of precluding myself giving into the temptation of tags, this is me slipping in a slowatus notice for Mordred. I'll still be backtagging and poking away at my inbox as I'm able, but for now please assume that any threads you have with this guy might drag a little until the 17th of December.

Mordred will probably be a bit more present for important events and if his canonmates need him, but beyond that, radio silence. Magical~ radio silence.

Anyway! Hoping that other uni people are handling their own Hell weeks all right, and that everyone else is having an enjoyable holiday season. See you soon, Somarium. c:

Hey everyone, Jade here (mun of Naomi, Seiga, and Kags) with an offer for a plot that some might be interested in. I'm sure many here are familiar with the classic mistletoe meme that appears on Bakerstreet every so often (even during the non-holiday seasons). Well, this here Seiga definitely understands the holiday spirit... and she also understands the art of messing with people and enchantments. (In her line of work, she even dresses up as Santa Claus at one point!) As for the real reason why she's doing this? Well, that's for her to know and others to guess at.

Here's how it'd go:

-- Character X is minding their own business when suddenly they are unable to move from their spot.
-- If Character X thinks to do so, they may look up and see a bough of mistletoe hanging or floating above them!
-- Character X is stuck in that spot until someone releases them from the enchantment with a kiss. How intense the kiss must be is up to the players; for children, it is perfectly permissible that the enchantment can be broken with a simple kiss on the cheek.
-- If Character Y comes along, they are free to move around within the vicinity until they are under the mistletoe and close enough to kiss Character X. At that point, they won't be able to move from the spot either.
-- These mistletoe will be everywhere and anywhere you'd want Seiga to put them (grocery store, office, living room, lab, store, restaurant, etc). She's got an ability to pass through just about everything (magical power and barriers too!), so if you want a mistletoe hanging in some obscure place, it can definitely be there. By the time this is over, hopefully your characters will grow either to love or hate these magic mistletoe.
--As for the IC days of when this would occur, it wouldn't be until mid-December (15/16/17th-ish). I'd put up log then for any participants, and people would be free to tag around with who they like.

So that's my proposition for a sub-plot. If anyone's interested, I'd like to hear from you, or if you want to go ahead and plot in this post that's cool too!

FIRST UP - apologies for being slow for the past few weeks. Life has been kicking my butt and my rp motivation is suffering accordingly.

Next up - that's totally going to continue, so I'm officially putting Tali on hiatus for the next two weeks or so. She's on autopilot, so her cast doesn't have to worry about her, and I'll try to get to backtags in something like a timely fashion, but otherwise I should be back in the full swing of things by about mid-month.

Stay cool in my brief lack of activity, Som! And as a reminder, if anyone wants to get in touch with me for any reason during the hiatus or after, plurk is the best way to do it. I'm on often at eflat.

Hey All!

It's that time of year, isn't it? With essays coming up for Term 1 of grad school, a business report due, work in full force with the winter fashion lines coming out and the general inconvenience of being in a different timezone than most of you, I have to call a semi-hiatus!

What this means is that any thread I promised to put up, I will still put up and any threads I am already in I will keep replying to (though slowly.)

Grad school essays extend all the way through our winter holiday (brutal, right?) where I'll also be taking a trip through Germany, so uh... I have no idea when the slowatus/hiatus will end! Possibly January 7th, when the new term begins?

I apologize in advance for how slow I've been in general lately. Sorry to anyone who has had to put up with it!

This effects Peter Parker and Takeshi Yamamoto, who will pretty much be taking strikes this month (sorry, awesome mods.)

However! As soon as I'm back I want to be active with everyone ever. /o/ So feel free to plot with me during December.

Just a quick dehiatus notice, although that hiatus was unannounced, oops. My bad. November was really bumpy for me so... ahaha, sorry for any tags I may have missed. Honestly I've yet to start picking away at my inbox so I'll probably slowly get to it. Hello, hello!

I'm Xae and I've played here a few times before in the past but now I'm back. Today I bring you one ex-telephone police box that was actually a time and space ship in disguise. But wait! What's that you say? How can I play a police box? Well that's because the heart and soul of said ship has been dumped into a human body!

For those who are confused, I bring you the TARDIS from that one long British show known as Doctor Who. Obviously she's from the episode 6.04: The Doctor's Wife. Because she exists across all of time and space in her canon, has special abilities like telepathy, precog and retrocog and may be a bit of a 4th waller...she has a permissions post!

Anyway, I'm usually on Tsukeru and sometimes on AIM under FeathersGlow. I look forward to playing with all of you and will intro either in a bit or tomorrow~ ♥

Hey guys! Mei Zhu, baby modthing, here... with yet another character (I also play Ouka, Alphonse, Arashi, Fujitaka, and Morgana!)

This is Caster (he'll be going by "Bluebeard") and he's a horrible person. You can read all about him here, but just be warned that some parts of it might be a little hard to read through. But basically, he's based off the historical figure Gilles de Rais, who... was really insane and a serial murderer (that's putting it nicely.) He also tends to have a very skewed version of God, and he talks about that a lot. I'm playing him as completely asexual, and I'll try to tone down everything he does, since the anime was fairly PG-13 about it, but yeah, just as a heads up.
