Group Assignments
Sorry for the delay, but we have our initial groups selected. Under their respective cuts is the group list and some brief information about what they're going to do first.
ICly, the chosen characters will receive a message on their Dreamberry today, Tuesday March 6, with a message as indicated in their respective group sections. Characters are free to go ahead and meet with one another prior to the actual designated meet up and can also ask questions over the network about the messages.
After that, how and the groups proceed to act will be up to you. You can use this post or use the Player Contact to gather everyone to discuss.
As a side note, we can still add one or two more people into the lab research section, so if you're still interested, you can still volunteer.
GROUP 1: PORTAL REPAIR
Only the main group will receive the following message on their Dreamberry:
Congratulations! You have been selected to be part of a team focused on repairing the recently discovered portal. Your group consists of the following: Julius Monrey, Nagi Naoe, Robin, Mille Feuille, and Shouichi Irie.
The portal has been moved to the following location. [directions here] Please report for duty on Sunday, March 11.
Any outside assistance will have to be brought in ICly by the group members. There will be a post on Sunday, March 11 for the group that will give fuller details as to what will happen. But as a heads up, they will basically be told to help work on repairing the portal and have freedom to use whatever knowledge they may have about technology.
This particular post will last one day ICly, but after this the group can set their own group meet-ups or do their own individual work at any time.
GROUP 2: LAB RESEARCH
Only the main group will receive the following message on their Dreamberry:
Congratulations! You have been selected to be part of a team investigating the recent research lab discoveries. Your group consists of the following: Jake Jensen, Red, and Gareki.
The documents and equipment have been moved to the following location. [directions here] Please report for duty on Saturday, March 10.
Any outside assistance will have to be brought in ICly by the group members. There will be a post on Saturday, March 10 for the group that will give fuller details as to what will happen. But as a heads up, they will basically be told to examine the results found within the documents and help analyze the nightmare energy.
This particular post will last one day ICly, but after this the group can set their own group meet-ups or do their own individual work at any time.
GROUP 3: EXPLORERS
Only the two groups will receive the following message on their Dreamberry:
Congratulations! You have been selected to be part of a team set to travel through the desert to investigate the recently discovered tunnel exit and what lies beyond. Although you are all part of one large group, there are two specific teams.
Team 1 consists of Ace, Leon Magnus, and Pierre de Chaltier. This team will head due south and examine the cliffs.
Team 2 consists of Steve Rogers, Ken Hidaka, and Clint Barton. This team will head due west and see if there is anything within ten miles of the tunnel exit. We have records that there may be an old weather station there.
Both groups should prepare and be ready to head out on Monday, March 12. The starting point will be at this recently discovered entrance to the tunnels. [directions here]
Any outside assistance will have to be brought in ICly by the group members. There will be a post on Monday, March 12 for the teams that will give fuller details as to what will happen. To keep it simple, there will be only be one post and just sub threads for each team. The teams will also be able to communicate with each other.
Like the others, more details will be laid out in the actual post, but as as a heads up, Team 1 will face more of a fight once they reach the cliffs and Team 2 will find themselves not in a weather station, but an abandoned military base.
ICly, this excursion should not take more than 3-4 days, possibly less. The characters will report their findings upon their return.
Also, characters out in the desert will still be able to communicate with those back at the city and can also make posts on the network if they so choose.
-----------------------------
That should be it. We realize this is hitting right in the middle of an app cycle and some new applicants may want to participate. We should be able to work any potential interested parties in for the Portal Repair and the Lab Research groups, but the Explorers group is locked in to the designated group members.
If you have any questions, comment to the Questions thread.
