Yeah I thought of that after I made this comment, but my thinking was that being in the dream they would at least momentarily forget they're not home - until things get weird. Obviously that makes less sense if you've been playing her as aware during her dreams, Ed hasn't had many so I haven't put much thought into it but for this it seemed like the best way to go.
