Weather: It's getting even warmer this week and Spring is definitely in the air. Flowers are starting to blossom, animals are coming out of their hibernation and things are feeling a little lighter. Too bad this is the month of the new moon, huh.

Effects: This cycle, some may feel as if they are being watched. Perhaps their dreams will even involve them being chased by a strange shadow or something they may already fear. The dream may even involve a sense of being trapped or caught. And no matter how hard they try, they cannot see or counter whatever it is that is chasing them. This includes both normal and interactive dreams. Upon waking, those who opted to have this theme will feel their hearts racing and for a while feel as if they are still being watched. Was that a shadow that disappeared from the corner of the room? A pair of eyes that was peering through the window? Was it really all a dream...or real?

Notes:

• HMD/Love Meme. This weekend we're holding our bi-monthly HMD/Love meme. Keep a look out for them! They should be popping up on Saturday.
  
  
• Growing suspicion. Due to the recent events, REM, the organization that oversees all use of dream energy and the technology involves, has once again turned a bit suspicious toward the resident characters. As Ryan mentioned, the machine that had trapped everyone during the last week of February had been found next to Caster. Since it was a machine that REM had never seen before, they are currently investigating all possibilities of where it had come from—including it being built by Caster himself.
  
  Of course there's a problem—Caster's no longer around. But REM had always been cautious that someone from another world might try to pull a stunt like this, so they are looking to see if he might have had an accomplice or worse—someone else has a similar idea and might be trying something or maybe even teaming up with a local. Nitiri may be dead, but that did not mean her experiments and research was not still floating around somewhere. Or someone else doing their own thing entirely.
  
  Characters may find themselves being stared a little more intently than usual by random locals. Even the ones they are familiar with may be a bit uneasy, though the main local population will still be friendly and cooperative.
  
  
• NPC helpers and volunteers. For the next cycle, along with the event that will be going on, we plan to have an actual investigation happen that occurs within the dreams. We aren't going to hit everyone, of course. ICly, the investigation is just randomly select characters and see what they know and if they may be a threat. Thus we would like to have a few volunteers who are open to have their characters be questioned. Ideally, we'd also like for a lot of them to not be suspicious characters at all. However if any baddies out there may be interested in having their character either try to bluff/weasel their way out or even be put under suspicion, that's cool, too!
  
  That also means we are introducing a couple new NPCs and will need NPC helpers. There will be 2 new ones, and Anarya will also be involved. We would like to have 2-3 players who are active, will be around for the majority of the week, and would not mind helping us out for playing out the NPC interrogators. You'll be given a basic "personality" and some questions for the NPC, and then you'll have a bit of creative leeway in actual tagging.
  
  
• Player plots Just a short list of the ongoing player plots at the moment. If you would like yours added, feel free to comment here.
  
  
  • A virus is spreading. Rosalia is the host/carrier for a lethal virus, and it looks like being stuck in a dreamscape didn't keep it from spreading. New information and plotting can be found here.
    
    
  • White Day Auction. Continuing with a "tradition" of ours, the RAD (Rose Academy Detectives) are hosting a White Day Auction sale. All males wanted and ladies~ Here's your chance to be queen for a day. The log for the dates can be found here.
    
    
  • Welcoming Committee. This month will be the launch of Somarium's very own welcoming committee led by Rise! A party will be held before the end of the cycle and an announcement regarding this will be going up relatively soon. Hopefully it'll help all the newcomers gather their bearings a bit faster now.
