EVAC GROUP GET IN HERE
Sorry guys, I meant to put this up yesterday. But anyone who is either involved in the evacuation process or just being a passenger should check out this post!
It's going to be mentioned on the actual Evacuation post, but this is how it's going to work. There will be ground transport and Cid's airship. The ground transport will carry only the local NPCs whereas Cid's airship will have all the characters plus the local NPCs. His airship is bigger than a Boeing 747 which can have a full capacity of about 500 passengers, so we can expect this thing to be crowded. There will be four designated threads that includes getting onto the airship and then the available levels of the airship. Since everyone will be centered in Espoir, he will bring down his airship and somehow land it in one of the fields. They'll all enter through the back and be ushered to the higher levels.
This is the very basic outline of the areas characters will have access to while on the airship:
There's also a FOURTH LEVEL, but that's just the huge cargo bay area as well as the engine rooms, armory, and other things that characters won't have access to. The doors will be guarded so no one will be able to get in.
Now, I mentioned on the SECOND LEVEL that monsters can attack. One of the reasons why this trip takes so long is because every now and then there will be aerial monsters that will attack the airship as well as ground monsters that attacks the ground transport. We're going to leave this up to the players whether the airship encounters one or not, but these only go in the SECOND LEVEL thread because that's the only thread that has access to the outside. The monsters won't get inside so there should be no monster attacks inside the airship. So if you want to spice up the thread with monsters, simply make a thread like "MONSTER INCOMING" and everyone can dogpile there.
As for arriving into Holm, we'll make a simple signal post marking their arrival on July 26 and from there everyone in Holm can make their own posts. Be sure to specify that they are in Holm. The details about the city will be out around then.
There will be a one day layover for Cid to make any necessary repairs and get supplies (I might make an open log post for that) and then they'll be out to return to Somarium on July 28.
-------------------
All right, with that said, this post is primarily for those who plan on being on the first evacuation, but those coming in the second should keep this in mind as reference for when that post goes up later. Either way, for those who may want to discuss things that their character might do, such as helping with the injured or help keep a look out, just pop in here. If you'd like to start some kind of organization, go for it.

This is the very basic outline of the areas characters will have access to while on the airship:
- FIRST LEVEL: The bridge and main strategy room. Cid will be here most of the time and characters can enter so long as they hit the button asking permission. Exceptions are any already recognized crew members and those "heading" the evac.
- SECOND LEVEL: This is mostly the outer deck. Anyone can walk outside and take in the
boringwonderful desert view. However, this is also where monster attacks may occur at random. More details on that below. - THIRD LEVEL: There's a small clinic, mess hall (with kitchen), bathrooms, and sleeping quarters. There's a catch to this though. Cid's airship wasn't built for passengers, so there are only like 10 actual sleeping quarters with bunk beds. He probably could have added more but that was kind of low on his To-Do list. So instead all of the big room closets and storage areas have been converted to have makeshift cots, sleeping bags, and the like. It'll be a bit cramped, but everyone will have a place.

Annnnnd I haven't decided 100% but I think Setsuna may be going with the evacuation group the first time just to ensure their safety...I might through Kaldur in (since they are being attacked and you'll need help fighting them off?)
Buuuut I haven't decided for sure |D esp. since they'd just be coming back anyway.
