Lady Sif is IN!

That new-car smell is me, your latest new player! I'm Kay, and I've apped the Lady Sif, from the Thor movie / general MCU continuity. (She's coming pre-Avengers, so she'll be surprised to see Loki looking all healthy and trouble-makey, but not surprised at all to see more than one of him.)

Sif has been dubbed the Goddess of War and she is damn proud of it: she's a matter-of-fact, take-nonsense-from-no-one, ass-kicking adventuress. But she isn't all srs bizns -- she's an upbeat woman who likes to have a good time, and she cares deeply about her friends and protecting others.

I have no idea what I'm doing here so please be gentle with me. ♥ I'll get to introing her after work.

I AM SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS but I had two headcanony questions to ask you so we could hopefully get on the same page. Your thoughts on:

1) Whether Sif would know about Loki's parentage or not -- obviously Thor knows, but we don't know if Odin made that public, and even if he didn't, if Sif might have been in the circle that did know. I'll go along with anything you prefer on this, or... pick from a hat if you don't care. :Da Loki might be happy to get all his bitter on her if she didn't, and would probably enjoy her shock anyway.

2) The hair-cutting incident! Loki cutting Sif's golden hair when they were young and its subsequent turning black is a myth/comic/backstory element I adore -- just more ~harmless mischief~ gone horribly awry, or jealousy or spite or rivalry gone too far, or whatever you like idk. Do you have particular thoughts about whether to adopt that, or if you don't want to do that?

1) i'm actually not sure. i mean i'm sure thor would tell her eventually, but if you took her directly post-thor (which i'm assuming?) then he might have had a chance to tell her yet? i mean it doesn't really matter to me either way, it'd be interesting to play out him actually telling her about it though!

2) HAHA that would actually be kind of funny to have as a headcanon-y backstory. we can adopt that, if you'd like!

She's from shortly before the avengers movie, so she won't know Loki is alive yet but she'd probably have learned soon. I'll say she knows he's adopted, but not that he's Jotun. :D that way we can have it both ways!
