Unfortunately, that quiet birthday you were expecting isn't going to be as quiet as you thought. We've asked everyone for a little help in greeting you on your special day and here's the fruit of their labor. I don't even know what others might have planned so it'll be a supplies surprise to you and us as well.

God, you're old. I take solace in knowing that you're a little older than me sometimes. XD But it doesn't always feel that way...

ANYWAYS. Lae, in the three years that I've gotten to know you, you've surprised me repeatedly with your ideas, by the way you handle things, and how you are able to keep things interesting in roleplaying. You are always able to keep a cool head more often than not and that's always avoided conflicts with the involved parties. Maybe it's the lawyer in you getting ready for the future. Or the teacher in you. Regardless, it's amazing. And how you're able to juggle things most of the time as well. Except when you go to play GW with Clark. That makes me and Mei a little sad. B( You've had your ruts but you've still been able to bounce back easily.

You are a fantastic person, Lae. You're a wonderful, dedicated mod who is able to keep on top of things in-game and out, and an amazing friend who doesn't let the small annoyances of others get to her, and is always around to lend an ear whenever someone needs it. It's been an honor and privilege to work alongside you and it's been so great to have you as a friend.

I wish you all the best on your birthday, hoping that you have a not-so-quiet one, because everyone deserves a big celebration on their special day. And if it's quiet, tell us, so we can remedy that. Happy birthday, not!wife!

No, but Lae. Lae. Thank you for creating this beautiful world and everything in it. I feel like I say this every time, but Somarium is my home game, and the day I leave this game is the day I quit RP altogether. (So you're kind of stuck with me for a really long time. Sorry.) Your dedication (unless when you ditch us for games or Clark d:...) is amazing, and your love for this game really shows. I don't think I've ever been in a game with such organized, timely, on-the-ball mods. (And this is coming from Mei the player, haha, not Mei the mod that wants to stroke her own mod!ego, because all the things that make this mod team wonderful have already been implemented before I even joined.)

I'm really glad that I was invited to join this mod team. We're not perfect, and sometimes it's incredibly stressful, but this is honestly one of the best experiences I've had in RPland. Getting to work with you has been an absolute joy. Before joining the team, you were just this really great player, and the mod of a fun game (which totally made you very intimidating, because all mods are the most intimidating...) and I wanted to get to know you better, but never really found the chance/opportunity to. I'm excited to be able to call you a friend, now, and I think it's made my life all the better. ♥ One day, Kelly will drag you down here to Georgia again and I will actually make it to meet you on time.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday. I hope you get to eat all the cake you can possibly eat, you're surrounded by people who love you, and you receive lots of wonderful gifts. Because you deserve it, girl!

Eee, Lae, you're pretty amazing, not even gonna lie. This was my first really huge game, and you've always been one of the nicest, most approachable mods.

What attracted me to this game when I first applied here was your amazing Cid. He's still ridiculously amazing, and we're all really blessed to have you around. You're a wonderful person.
