Give us your plots. A few days ago we posted a Plot Incubation Meme to help those who may have some plot/event ideas either for us or to the gamebase generally. There are a couple of interesting ones, but we'd love to see more! (At least tell us what you'd like to see more of—we're always open to ideas!)
Dream Energy Report? The report that was supposed to go before the new moon has been shifted to be during (near the end) this week instead. Reason? Considering what's happening this week, what they have to say would be better fitting as well as allow for more questions and discussion.
Dream Melding. Now for the meat of this post. Nitiri, the one who had most of the control over the noctaere in years past, is no longer around to create havoc during the new moon. For those not familiar, the new moon is usually the time when the nightmare themes come out. However, this is the first new moon since Nitiri's defeat. Does this mean things may be calmer?

Pffffffffffffft.

If anything, it's a little more chaotic. There aren't any "nightmares" per se, but characters will still find themselves affected by the new moon's influence. This is happening through a strange phenomenon dubbed "Dream Melding."
- Say what? Short version is that two or more characters will have their individual, separate dreams merged together.
- Example. "A" dreams of a fun play pen of puppies, "B" dreams of fighting the galactic aliens invading their world. "A" and "B" are completely separate at first—they are unaware of each other's dreams. However, sometime in-between those separate dreams, the two crash into each other to form a new dream: puppies attacking the galactic aliens while some of those aliens end up playing with said puppies because puppies are cute.
  
  Result? Mass confusion by the two dreamers for they will be able to see and interact with each other and their surroundings.
  
  For those who prefer a visual example, imagine two bubbles. The red one is "A"'s dream bubble, the blue one is "B"'s dream bubble. Now mash those two bubbles together. You get one purple bubble.
- Dream content. Going off the example above, the content of the dream can be whatever the partnered players concoct. It can be silly, serious, tame, chaotic—so long as there are two distinct elements (or more if there are more than 2 people) so that it can be obvious that "Something is not right here." A suggestion would be making things based off the character's canon world.
- Interactive only. As a result of this merging, the new dream becomes interactive. Even though the individual dreams may not have been, now that the two characters are in each other's dreamfields (the dream bubble) they are forced to interact with one another. Thus all of these dream posts will have to be posted in somarium.
- Waking out. Unlike other dreams, due to the sudden convergence, it is a little difficult for the two dreamers to wake out. They can, but it involves more effort and may take them a little time before being able to leave. This is particularly so for dreams that may be more "goal" oriented—that is, they must complete a goal before they can wake up. Those who dreamwalk into the dream can help them out.
- Meet new faces. The individuals that end up together are going to be surprised for a lot of reasons, one of them being that they will likely not recognize the other person. Thus we are instilling the following rules:
  1. Characters should not know each other prior to dreaming.
    
    Minor interaction such as meeting once or twice is OK, we just don't want characters who are always together to do this event. So if there's a character you've wanted to thread with but never had a good opportunity to do it, this is your chance!
  2. Players should pair up with someone they do not normally play with.
    
    This may put a wrench in some plans that some players might want, but fear not. These restrictions only go to the dream—anyone is free to tag into it. So close canon mates and other players will still be able to help their friend. They just won't be sharing the dream.
  3. Multiple dreams/partners allowed.
    
    There are no restrictions as to how many times your character can be part of this. If you want your character to be in four joint dreams, that is perfectly fine. As implied above, it is also possible to have more than two characters in a dream.
  4. DON'T BAIL ON YOUR PARTNER.
    
    This is supposed to be a fun event and to have players and characters branch out more. If you don't think you'll be around, we suggest settling for just tagging into posts. If unforeseen circumstances do arise that would force you to not be able to do the post, let your partner know so they can find someone else to play with.
- Sign-up and plotting. So for those who wish to do this, you must comment to this post with your characters. Then find someone you've never threaded with before or haven't tagged in a while and start plotting away! Also, everyone should be receptive to including others. So check this post often and be sure to tag someone else. It will ensure that your character will have a partner at the very least, particularly if you're coming in a little late. If you see someone untagged and you've never played with them, take the leap and try and plot with them!
  
  If this sounds like something like a CR Meme...it kind of is, huh?
- Effect on AC. Because these posts will be joint posts, we just wanted to remind people that they can be used on the AC to be counted as a post for each player involved in the joint post. But keep in mind, the tagging any responding comments rule is still in effect.
- OPTIONAL. This is optional. You do not have to sign-up to participate and you do not have to dreamwalk/tag into the dreams.

I have to admit that I just screamed when I saw Sokka... /just finished AtLa and LoK a few weeks ago, or so, so excuse me for fangirling over here rn.

And as far as canon familiarity goes, I only know his canon, but that's not even a problem. I won't mind if you want to do this with someone else.

Bunny girl is a bit more thematically appropriate BUT Sokka needs more attention. He seriously does. I'd love to use Sokka for this.

I just finished Madoka like last month or so, THIS IS KIND OF GREAT TIMING. I will probably throw my girl at Madoka at a later date, though. Head's up.

Bunny girl would be amazing too (not that I know her canon but I've seen her around in games), and yes, throwing her at Madoka later sounds good. Or I'll throw Madoka at her later, whichever posts first. :3

...Or then we could do this... the other way around and I could throw Madoka at Sokka somewhere else ~~before I enable myself into muses from avatar series anyways~~ and then we could use bunny girl for this.

Okay, look, I have very bad decisions skills. Let's just give all of my attention to Sokka, because I love Sokka and maybe universe wants to prove him wrong again somehow by something from Madoka's world.

Just put him in a frilly dress. That'll be enough. |D
